About
Roots spiralling out of the pot like a bowl of unruly noodles? Cheese plant splaying in all directions? Succulent you haven’t repotted in over a decade? No idea what to do about it? Bring your houseplants to Wild Roots! We’ll repot your plant for FREE - just pay for the materials used.
HOW IT WORKS:
Book a FREE ticket to reserve a time slot - there’s four to choose from throughout the day. Bring a maximum of 5 plants in during your time slot and leave them with us. Potter about town and go about your day whilst the team inspects, repots and cleans up your houseplants for you. Collect an hour later (or at the latest 4pm that day), pay for materials used (soil, nursery pots, moss poles, etc) and even treat your plant to a new decorative pot!
HOW MUCH IT COSTS: We don’t charge a repotting fee, but you will need to pay for materials used. To give you an idea of that price: our smallest nursery pot costs 49p, our largest £11. Houseplant soil costs £1 per litre, Cacti & Succulent soil costs £1.35 per litre. Moss poles range from £5.99-16.99.
WHERE TO PARK:
If you've got heavy or large plants, you'll want to park close by. The nearest car park is the Dolphin Multi Story located just behind the bus station. There is some free roadside parking outside High Score Arcade (BH15 1SS), but you may only park here for 20 minutes, and it can get busy. Both options are a few minutes walk away from the shop.
❗ DISCLAIMERS:
You must check for pests on your houseplants before bringing them in. Plant pests spread easily, and in order to protect the plants in the shop, we will refuse to take your plant if we see infestations. Our nursery pots go up to 40cm in diameter, and we cannot manage repots larger than this, nor can we help you to and from your car. Therefore please make sure not to bring anything too heavy or unmanageable - for your sake and ours! We are not responsible for the health of your houseplant after it has been repotted. If you bring in a houseplant that is already in poor condition (extremely pot bound, struggling with root problems etc) we will do our best for it, but cannot guarantee it will get better and are not responsible for how you care for it afterwards.
