Join Times to Treasure to create your own beautiful silver jewellery. This half day silver clay taster session is great for complete beginners. You will discover the magic of silver clay and make a beautiful botanical silver pendant or drop earrings using leaf imprints.
What is silver clay?
Silver clay is real silver but in clay form. The clay contains microscopic silver particles which are recycled from industry. The clay also contains water and an organic plant-based binder. It looks and feels very similar to regular clay, allowing you to shape, mold, and texture it by hand. When heated with a torch or kiln, the binder burns away and the silver particles fuse into solid, real silver… it’s amazing!
